About
Welcome to Help Meghan Run!
My name is Meghan, and this is my blog.
I’m a 20-year-old student from Texas, and I’m studying abroad in Australia from July-November 2010! This blog will track my adventures in Sydney, mainly of the food and fitness variety.
I started this blog back in May 2009 when I ran with Team in Training for the first time and raised money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Please see more about my TNT involvement here and feel free to browse the archives to see more about those experiences.
Health is one of my biggest passions. Under that broad umbrella resides food, fitness, and general wellness (which includes a healthy balance of all these aspects). I enjoy baking and cooking, as well as developing new, creative, healthy recipes. I love to run and work out, and educate people about health in any way.
My other interests include: chocolate, sports of any kind, naps, magazines, hanging out with friends, running, writing, eating granola, Gmail, Glee, almond butter, and spontaneous dance parties.
My favorite quote:
"When you wake up in the morning, Pooh," said Piglet, "what’s the first thing you say to yourself?"
"What’s for breakfast?" said Pooh. "What do you say, Piglet?"
"I say, I wonder what’s going to happen exciting today?" said Piglet.
Pooh nodded thoughtfully.
"It’s the same thing," he said.

Sounds great, Meghan!! See you at the finish line!
Well I found ya!
Good luck with the training & I would really appreciate the chance to run with you!
I owe you several Houston marathon run-ins.
Good luck with your training! I just found your blog through Oh She Glows. Can’t wait to read more!
This is wonderful to read! I will be running my first half marathon in a week and cannot wait to feel the rush as I get close to the finish line. Keep up the good work!
